Me too. But my heart went out to those poor people that were. the areas affected are mostly lower income people, but a lot of back ups were put in place.

I know the area, and was sitting here last night just feeling guilty re complaining that the heat in our apartment building was lousy.

And that the lights were out at Honest Ed’s? The size of the area affected was incredible. I think that the city did an excellent job in getting it repaired in 24 hours. When that happens in NYC? It can take days.

IIRC, the pipe affected was about 110 years old?
