It’s a perfectly good point.

If we consider it moral and ethical to make standards for workers in this country, it is pathetic of us to engage workers in other countries specifically to avoid those standards.

It is only made more complex because cutting a company off from that economy does not necessarily lead to anything good; it’s not a simple binary thing.
