Of course, any eyewitness-based case is risky. The best eyewitness testimony can crumble under cross-examination. That’s how the humans are. It doesn’t mean one should just give up and go home without trying.
They had a chance to interview the witnesses but declined, and refused to release autopsy data because “it might influence witnesses”, in other words, a self-perpetuating clusterf*ck of ass-covering manipulation.
