Those statistics are different though than the problem.

The the Chinese allow for only one baby period male of female.

I remember reading somewhere that they now have something like 30,000,000 men without any hope of finding a woman. I imagine that this will have three long term effects…

1. Women’s rights will improve somewhat in China.
2. China will invade someone else for their women.
3. Being gay will be seen as more of an “option.”

I thought I had heard China was recently considering moving to a two child limit due to the sexual disparity. Let me see if I can find a link.
