Sounds like the way it used to be done. Or could be done. Funny how after they increased college aid that tuitions went up — but that’s a different story. I was getting 5.67 and drafting landing survey and was rather good at it.

Not to complain but these days kids want to graduate from college with a BA or BS and make over 35K with full bennies off the bat. Some do get that. It’s been my experience that many aren’t worth it since in the case of architecture they don’t know their ass from their elbow regarding how to build an actual building. They are however well trained to create bullshit buildings to impress the art poser crowd.

One thing they don’t get is the way of the school of hard knocks. Working your way up the ladder. Not anymore since they’ve been drilled into their heads that they are “all worthy” and all “empowered” even though they have a) yet to prove that or b) earn their way up the career ladder.
