differing experience, language choice, individual opinion, and a host of other factors can make getting at the truth difficult.

Thanks! It’s so hard getting at truth in just one country though— trying to understand the spin and media players in yet another is incredibly difficult without some insight from such as yourself. Really, really appreciated. Alouette’s post on Israeli media was super helpful also, but you’re right— we all need as much info as we can get and having a variety of perspectives gives us invaluable help.

It’s really hard to get at truth when you can’t even formulate the right questions to ask because you just don’t know enough. It’s really nice when we can exchange information and ask questions here without hostility arising. Not every question is a dishonest question even when it seems clueless to those better informed (i do this a lot myself sometimes too).Thank you for you help!
