The thing is that sometimes hallucinogens make a person paranoid, and if THC made Trayvon Martin more hostile than he otherwise would have been, then that is a fact that would need to be considered. But when we talk about this, we’re talking about questions of admissibility in which I have little expertise. I’m not a lawyer and I don’t know what Florida law permits in this case. The THC might not be admissible at all, unless there was some way Zimmerman knew Martin was high.

Have you ever smoked pot? THC is not a hallucinogen. And anecdotal as it may be, in my extensive experience in the use of both hallucinogens and marijuana, I’ve never once in over 20 years seen anyone become violent under the influence of either substance…Alcohol, more often than I care to remember. But pot or psychedelics - never.

Also, watching Reefer Madness on YouTube isn’t the same as experience.
