I hear you.

The system is broken. Those of us who need the federal loans should be able to get them so long as we keep our gpa at the required minimum and maintain the acceptable number of units.

In order for me to get federal loans I actually have to get a useless AA degree in order to qualify for said loans, even though I already have a BA and am going back for a new career. It’s totally absurd.

Honestly, I think there should be fewer loans and more grants. Loans are all well and good, but it’s not exactly easy for most people to start to pay back $100k+ when you’re fresh out of school.
