Pentagon Said to Plan Increased Surveillance Over Iraq

The Pentagon will announce today increased surveillance over Iraq, U.S. defense officials said.

The expanded surveillance, requested by Iraq’s government, will be unmanned and unarmed, according to the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity in advance of the announcement.
