I dunno, can you change your name? My FB account isn’t under my real name as I’m super-paranoid when it comes to cyberspace. Even then, I have pretty much everything set to “friends only”.

FB has been known to make privacy settings confusing, and I don’t really turst them to protect my personal data. Not because I think they’re evil or there’s some grand conspiracy, but because companies can get greedy, sloppy, etc. Look what happened with Sony recently. And RSA’s SecureID.
