OK, I’ll probably provoke a fight here, but many administrations have pushed back hard against Israel on settlement expansion. Some pressure resulted in a change to more moderate leaders in Israel. Don’t forget, the far right in Israel embarrassed Biden on his peace making trip. I just read that polls in Israel are not happy with provoking the US to appease the religious extremists in Israel. The whole issue is a diplomatic dance, they poke, we poke back.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that Obama demands Israeli compliance by tomorrow so he can go trundling off to the Arab League Summit in Libya on bended knee to present that ugly collection of despotic drekeaters with his trophy-list of Israeli concessions.
