The President can do more than one thing at a time - he can order the DoD to carry out airstrikes pursuant to set objectives, and do so until such time that the orders change.

Which is basically what the Administration has been doing for months.

The right wing completely whitewashes the President’s efforts, and instead makes it sound like he’s ignoring it (he’s not), that he’s treating the problem as less than serious (he’s not), that he’s burying the issue in favor of global warming (he’s not), etc.

But of course, this meme will go far and wide in wingnuts space.

They want to forget that he can make fun of Trump and have bin Laden killed at the same time.
