I started commenting on Kos Election Day 2004. Did a lot of commenting for a while, but I got an increasing amount of negative comments when I spoke about my son’s death. Several of the comments were just plain nasty. Now I rarely comment there. Glad I found Little Green Footballs where I feel more comfortable!

I cannot believe you got negative comments about your son’s death. That’s just awful. I’ve never posted on Kos before. I actually started out on DU way back in 2002 but I eventually left there in 2005. Kind of joined a spinoff of that site and a site called CU for a little while (It’s a weird story.) I didn’t do much in the 2008 presidential election since I was focused on transfering from community college to GMU. I was happy Obama won but I really wanted to stay out of politics until I saw the Tea Party’s rise which scared me.
