Sure, and the bottomless bad faith as shown from Erick ibn Erick O’Erick. And the mess from Elizabeth Warren’s attempt to resolve issues with her ancestry. You will never win with Republicans by trying to play on their terms, because they are liars and cheats and everything is done in bad faith. You keep your own house in order as well as you can, but as far as the goopers are concerned, they are beyond redemption at this point.

I mean, at the very least, this isn’t about trying to impress the GOP or the media, since that’s never going to happen. This is, as you put it, about ‘keeping our house in order’ and taking care of something that actually erodes trust in a leadership figure.
