For all those watching the Hot Zone limited series: this program is not like Chernobyl, an attempt to chronicle an actual disaster, but as the message at the beginning says “Inspired by true events”. So a lot of action that did NOT happen.

Chernobyl is utterly nightmarish. I think I actually screamed out loud when one of the workers actually looked over the roof edge directly into an unshielded fission core.
