That’s not what I meant at all. What I was saying is that the term “philosophy” is tossed around far too loosely, referring to everything anyone wants to claim, regardless of if it rational, thoughtful, consistent, or based on anything. Any philosophy worth a damn has some actual thought involved and generally should have some level of reality and internal consistency to it, even if it’s a flawed line of thinking. Disagreement is allowed, you just generally need something more convincing than “Because I said so”.
