Mitt’s out to buy an election, not win one. He paid $3,500,000 for second place in Iowa, a couple million for New Hampshire, another $5,000,000 or so for two delegates in South Carolina, and now he’s buying Florida outright for $12,500,000.

Fiscal conservatives love to spend money.

I don’t get the distinction. Buy an election, win an election. It is the same thing. The system is set up to allow money to have an overwhelming impact in the electoral process. I am pretty sure every winner has paid their share. Mitt is no different. No better. No worse. He has the war chest and he spends it. If you want a different system, get a different system. There are many out there.
