That particular stretch of I-10 used to have 2 or 3 wrecks a week like that.

Then they changed the rules for that stretch - 18-wheelers must stay in one lane, and the speed limit for them is 10 mph slower than for other vehicles.

It seems odd, but it really reduced the number of wrecks. This is the first one in a long time.

Odd… at least in the states near Canada, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, all major highways seem to have that truck speed limits that are 10MPH less than that of cars. Where is the I10?
