YEA WALTER! I’ve been working my own network of lizards some of whom may still have air miles left over - this is how we helped get an LGFer to San Diego to see her Marine Corps son off on his first overseas deployment!

What Dusty didn’t say, is that even once he gets his VA check on the first if he uses THAT money he’ll be short money for May’s expenses - he lives, as do a lot of us, from month to month - THANK YOU VERY MUCH for jumping on this.

That’s why I suggested help, if anyone could. Even if his VA check could cover the airfare, he would probably be short for the month of May.

And I didn’t know how soon he needed to get moving, but I suspect that it would be certainly possible to miss the funeral.

So, I didn’t sit around waiting for a firm plan, I just shouted out loud to the Lizards and figured that money now is the best answer.

And I suspect a few extra dollars will always be put to good use. And, as I disclosed earlier, I myself don’t really have anything to contribute, not this late in the month.

So, I want to thank all the Lizards who picked up the ball and moved on this. I was only the messenger.
