It’s hard for some us newer people to think straight amid all the hissing and clawing, so we just hide in the nearest closet and wait for a lull in the battle when it seems relatively safe to come out, and then pick through the carnage for the useful bits.

I’ve been too intimidated to post to you since I found out you were a cabbie for 17 years. When I was young and thinking about where I could live and what I could do there, I thought about cab driving. It was way too scary to even contemplate.
