So let’s just throw our hands up in the air and say, “We tried. Oh, but they just didn’t want to work with us, so we had no choice but to continue trying to choke the life out of one group of indigenous people…” Kinda sad, when ya think about it, also. You betcha. How about dem Bears?!

We’re not choking the life out of the Palestinians, neither is Israel. They aren’t being “choked”. We’ve tried for over 15 years to get a viable final status and peace treaty done, and both Presidents Clinton and Bush the younger worked hard towards that goal. Both Democrats and Republicans asked repeatedly for some good faith and compromise from Palestinian leaders, but ere met in every effort with dishonesty and intransigence. Should Mitt Romney just play the fool and pretend that that won’t happen again, despite the mountain of evidence to the contrary?
