They had the choice to remain true to fiscally conservative principles. They lost the majority. Now we have even worse spenders in Congress. And I’m supposed to think elections will control this. I say, FEH!

Wellllll, if people would vote out pork kings like Stevens, Lott, Cochran, et al in GOP primaries, elections could change spending. Unfortunately voters aren’t informed enough, or just don’t care. It’s very frustrating. But it would certainly help to get voters behind candidates who care about fiscal discipline. How else would you get a balanced budged amendment going?
