LOL.

No… I noticed the cashiers that seem to do the best, and enjoy their jobs the most are the ones who converse with the customer. And since we are up in “the hills” up here, it’s a rural setting, and these people are more open to “rag chewing” (old radio operators term for “talking”)… so I’m just combining my off beat sense of humor with engaging the customers to keep them smiling.

Otherwise, as people know here on LGF, I can be snotty as all hell, so it’s a toss up, I either grin and bear this, or I go all Andy Rooney on the customers.
