This is going to play well to the wingnuts. NPR may have just given the GOP and added boost just before the elections. Perhaps this was NPR’s October surprise?

In the long run this really screws Republicans. Imagine what’s going to happen in the Presidential debates. Sarah Palin is going to have to answer the question “should Muslims be allowed in airports?” or something similar.
