Yeah, but according to the jewish religion, im not exactly a jew. I also do not believe in many of the things related to religion in general. I still consider myself as a jew, and i can enjoy every single “privilege” reserved for a “real” jew - marrying as a jew, divorce as a jew, if i came from another country i would have been accepted under the return rule… So im considered a jew, but a secular jew. I cant see this happening for muslims. I know very few arabs (all here in Israel), living quite a secular lives. But some of them are condemned,as you said, they are apostates in the eyes of the muslim majority. Its a very demanding religion. It seems like if you dont perform it to the smallest details, your not a muslim anymore…

My family in Israel isn’t religious, but secular in America is different from secular in Israel. Secular in Israel is far more “Jewish” than secular in the states.

But I’m hearing from you that it’s more of a cultural thing than a religious thing for you. Well it is for me heh.
