The Kindle seemed to be a very popular gift this season, even my technologically challenged Mom-in-law got one and loves it. Now my wife is looking to grab one.

They’re inexpensive, which is good, and if you register them to the same account you can share books - and there’s a way to “lend” books across accounts as well, I believe. I went for the full Fire model for my wife. Too bad it doesn’t have a USB port for adding a flash drive for external storage, but otherwise a decent little tablet.
