For the man who would have been the oldest presidential elect ever. But yeah. We rightfully laugh at Palin now but McCain and his people thought she was good enough to be number two for the whole country. I honestly suggest I wouldn’t want her for number 2 for my county let alone nation.

McCain was somewhat forced into nominating her, but he still shouldn’t have done it. There were non-crazy people who were conservative enough that he could have nominated. They wouldn’t have made as big a splash, but they wouldn’t have turned into a liability, either.
