It’s a combination of misogyny, weapons grade hate on Clinton, and the insatiable need to push fear and hate to its extremes.

Economic anxiety? The angry white guys who are the core of Trump support aren’t economically disadvantaged.

But Trump makes them think that everyone is taking advantage of them because rights now extend to others in the same manner. It’s a GOP standard of course, but reality is that this group has long benefited from privileges they take for granted, while everyone else has had to fight for the right (to vote, to get married, to be recognized for civil rights protections, etc.)

And the GOP and Trump stand opposed to it all - which is why they’re the ones fighting to restrict access to the polls, have fought to reduce the number of polling places, and who think that the right to vote should be curtailed.

That’s not Democrats leading the charge. That’s the GOP.
