Separation of church and state trumps everything, IMHO. Laws are secular for a reason. I don’t boycott businesses just because I don’t agree with the religion of someone, unless they come out with hate speech (like the Chick-Fil-A owner). I don’t even ask what it is. They can practice whatever religion they want to, as long as it doesn’t affect me as a person.

But discrimination under the guise of “religion” shouldn’t fly. I remember too well the old days of the lunch counter sit-ins and such. And, more recently, pharmacists who didn’t want to dispense lawfully prescribed drugs because of their own stand on contraceptives and abortion.

So then basically you are saying that if Christian owners of a wedding business don’t want to cater to gay couples they should close up shop?
