Sorry. Wasn’t ignoring that just had to re-boot.

Here’s what I mean.

In the inner-cities and rural poor areas there are companies that set up for tax season. During tax season? The sole pupose of those businesses are to separate as much EIC and Refund money as possible from the poor. They are spectacularly successful.

Entrepreneurial minded folks will (both with and without scruples) separate them from their new found wealth with an expedience that would impress… uh… someone very impressed with expediency.

Some of the poor would rise, but most would not.

I guess it’s entirely a anecdotal discussion… but it’s what I think.
