It’s all so odd but somehow not surprising. The Republican party started to go off the rails with the Southern strategy and never self-corrected. Now that it is in limbo, the rats are jumping off the sinking ship.

But the southern strategy didn’t make the party go off the rails. It made them winners (in the D_F sense). People (old white men) like Will just bailing now because they no longer have control of the message, and they cannot deal with that.
