That flag and anthem represent more to some than you could ever understand. Some have had to watch their loved ones come home under that flag. It’s not about your political BS, it’s about respect. If you are too ridiculous to understand I suggest you visit Arlington Natl Cemetery

Veterans don’t own the flag. That flag belongs to all Americans. Every last person in my family served in the military supporting the Constitution, which protects the right to protest.

She can take a hike with her fake patriotism. If she’s so concerned about the military, I used to be a Navy recruiter and she’s still young enough to enlist. I can point her in the right direction.

On the other hand, I’m not sure I would want to inflict a wingnut like that on the Navy.
