Yup. While ignoring his launching his presidential campaign on the site of Civil Rights workers who had only been slain in that place seven years before. Eliminating open carry in California after African-Americans started doing it. Laying a wreath at the cemetery of fallen SS soldiers in West Germany.

Saying it was a travesty that low-ranked military personnel could qualify for food stamps, then pushing to ban military personnel from getting food stamps. Saying that the military and civilian Federal workers needed to take the lead on showing citizens we cared about the budget deficit by freezing pay rises.

But somehow those of us who saw all this during his presidency are supposed to swallow “The GOP changed and I didn’t.”
