That’s how I see it. She’s mostly as bad as the rest, but she still believes in democracy and the Constitution, so they can’t tolerate her in leadership. It’s a fascist party now.

And of all the potential dictators they could have chosen they went with a whiny, impotent, incompetent, idiot man-baby. I shudder to think what would have happened if they’d picked a better candidate to rally around. Or were his unique batch of bad qualities the reason the base picked him in the first place? Would they have rallied around a smarter smoother operator who didn’t obviously represent all of their own faults and insecurities?
