Can someone please tell me why funds from the stimulus bill can’t be re-programmed to extend these benefits? And don’t tell me they “can’t” because they were appropriated elsewhere- that’s completely false and it’s done all the time.

If not, I’ll just allow the “GOP hates poor people” pissing matches to continue.
