It will. I may be optimistic, but I think that the Tea Party “movement” will be history by 2014 (maybe even before 2012).

Extremist movements tend to lose steam after 3-5 years, look at the Hatriots, Lyndon LeRouche, the moonbats, etc.

It’s not gonna happen before 2012

If they do good in the 2010 elections (and sadly it looks like they will) the people in charge of the GOP will think that this is the way the wind is blowing so they’ll quadruple down on the Tea Party People.

Then when they Run Captain Crazypants for president in 2012 and get anhilated at the polls, THAT might shake some sense into them.
