Prepare for a rant later about how Obama actually gave him “the forks”. In the UK and Australia, you can make an insulting gesture using your index and middle finger like the bird and it means the exact same thing. But it’s kind of obscure for Americans. Also, clearly not what Obama did. But I’m waiting for someone over there to say, “Well, maybe it wasn’t the bird but it was definitely the forks. Totally!”
