I agree, it probably does elevate the risks for our service personnel.
Then again, even a rumor of a Koran touching a toilet halfway around the world, as well as some cartoons, tends to send many in the Islamic world into frenzy.
Not to mention that they probably keep some Chinese manufacturers of US flags in the black with all the US flags they burn.

And no, I don’t agree with this little book burning stunt.

If the reaction to the Newsweek story about the Koran flushing is any indication, this book burning stunt will kill a LOT of people.

It is THE dumbest PR stunt EVER. Their church may end up obliterated. While that’s horribly sad, I would still have an “I told you so” feeling about it.
