I’m retired, and even before that I hadn’t worked “in the field” in ages (well 10 years anyway), I owned the business. I actually got up about two hours early that day because I didn’t want to risk going back to sleep and having that bummer of a dream starting up again. It was very detailed, and I remembered every bit of it after waking which doesn’t usually happen, for me as a electrician it was kinda like one of those “going to school/class without any clothes on” dreams.

Ah, one of those. I had the recurring high school dreams where I would be walking backwards and only wearing socks. Been a while since I had those.

My dreams evolved over time. I used to get a lot of flying dreams — the type where you do so without an aircraft. I used to fly everywhere in those dreams. The interesting part was that I seemed to have a lot of control in those dreams. Would get hairy when I had to “fly” between wires and such.
