You’re right. I wasn’t approaching this from a “well that’s just how the world is”, but rather what we should really be looking toward. I dislike double-standards, no matter how well intended. It’s either okay to make fun of everyone, or it’s not okay to make fun of anyone.

I’ll admit that some things are tasteless, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a racist because you’re relating two things together, like in this image. But I agree that those two things together, used by someone who gives all the appearances of being a racist, IS racist.

It’s something I consider distinctive, but apparently I am bad for having this opinion on the subject… which is why I would rather just not comment on these threads anymore. Your post was very good, however, so I think you deserved a response, and a good rating.
