re: #531 albusteve

oops
I lived in Denver in the 70’s when they finally arose from the ashes to put up some good teams…the fans were good people and a lot of fun…then in 78 they went berzerk with the best team ever!..and of course the Cowboys crushed them that SB….I still have a small affinity for the Broncos

I read an article that said a psychologist was called in to evaluate that defense (Lyle Alzado, Randy Gradishar, Tom Jackson, Louis Wright …) and the psychologist said if they weren’t playing football, they’d all be in prison.

Alzado admitted taking steroids, and before he died of brain cancer he went out of his way to tell everybody about how bad that was.
The rest of them have charities and do a lot of community work, and Louis Wright, I think, still coaches high school football.

Personality profiles are frequently wrong.
