Central Virginia. Not really an area known for it’s outstanding restaurants. There are a couple though, Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant in Charlottesville is fantastic and the Edelweiss Restaurant in Staunton, my favorite one. Great German food is hard to find. The Edelweiss is amazing.

Chicago also has a restaurant called Edelweiss, on Irving Park Road. It’s a very good Bavarian place.
