There’s nothing in the Second Amendment that authorizes those asshats to be “first responders”.

And they damn well know it.

I don’t read that statement to mean they are going to someone else’s house with those guns. What it means is that they can’t count on the police arriving in time to save them in the event of a home invasion, so they need those guns to defend themselves if needed. And I’d argue that is well within the meaning and intent of the 2nd Amendment.

That said, they should also have a properly stocked first aid chest as well.
