The Ecuadorian hide-out is probably the most bugged office suite in the world, and not just by government actors like MI-5 and CIA. British tabloids have been known to do such things and those (apparent) bunglers behind the Todd and Clare fiasco might be expected to try something similar if they had the wherewithal. There might be others who do have such means.
