I received a wireless video doorbell for Christmas and installed it today. I watched the walkway for hours waiting for somebody to come up to the door, of course when I stepped out in the backyard the doorbell rang and I totally missed the event. The infrared light at night significantly increases battery usage. Considering how long I’ve had the camera active and with infrared, this thing will last a long time in normal usage and maybe 24 hours with constant streaming.

That’s not bad. Mine was able to connect to the doorbell transformer to automatically recharge the battery; did yours have that option?
