Police nonetheless have to live with that fear, especially in certain areas. The main issue I have is the fallacious notion that more cops = better police protection.
They neglect the factor of training and integrity. Police get around 600 hours of training in the USA, double that in Canada, double that again in the UK and double that again in Germany.
Odd when you see that the number of police hootings per capita is nearly an inverse of that
The county sheriff, when heβs just out walking around, only carries a nightstick. Our village marshal only carries a blackjack. We have virtually no crime.
