With the election tomorrow of a new President of Mexico, gun sales to Mexico will probably be even easier. The front runner and presumed winner will not be pursing a war on the drug cartels the way Calderon has.

I mean really, with no cooperation from the US over guns going into Mexico, they cant win anyway.

I was just rummaging around in my old Pages, and there were lots of articles about gun and ammo smugglers getting caught. Lots of people have been busted and prosecuted in New Mexico for buying and selling guns headed for Mexico. One of the stupid things about Fast and Furious was that they watched lots of guns being sold before they figured out how to nail anyone for what they suspected was acting as suppliers for the cartels. The laws are so lax about how many guns you can buy, and then sell, trade or give away the next day, they couldn’t make a case against anyone.
