Obama Admin Wants to Make Wounded Vets Use Private Insurance

I had to hold my nose very tightly shut when I voted for McCain, but I’m guessing this ridiculous idea would never even have crossed his mind.

If you think about it, though, this could help Obama’s agenda in two ways. One, it frees up federal money currently being spent by the VA that can now be spent on one of Barry’s pet programs (e.g. socialized medicine). Two, it puts a huge new burden on private insurance companies, further weakening the private system and strengthening the argument for expanding the public system.

But it reminds me of the time during the Reagan Administration when some government agency sought to reclassify ketchup in a school lunch as a “vegetable”, and the hue and cry that went up from all corners of the MSM.

Compare their vehement reaction to that silly but relatively innocuous proposal with the MSM’s muted reaction to this sickening idea.
