Big Bang as a starting point for the physical universe … sounds good. I mean it is plausible and so far as a theory it makes sense. I am talking about a first cause of truth and knowledge, what the ancients sought to understand.

First cause of truth? As a proposition that doesn’t make sense. Why would truth have a cause?

Knowledge, as is accumulated by mankind, is caused by mankind. Science is the method of accumulating knowledge so we can get ever closer to what is the truth. We never actually get to the whole truth—even the law of gravity had to be modified by Einstein’s general relativity. And still, there are suggestions that the theory of gravity has more to it than we understand.
