I can answer part of that question.. Thousands of our soldiers would still be alive. And the war had some contribution to the financial crisis.

Sadaam didn’t have squat. He wasn’t acquiring either. The inspectors were a big enough deterrent for that. David Kay admitted as much.

But I think it’s kinda pointless to say “what if”. Any number of things would have been different. On the upside, being close to Iran and Pakistan isn’t a bad thing.
